Artwork from the show was created by Chicago-area students as well as survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. The work was a reflection on the theme of empowerment, inspiration, or abuse.
The event took place in the beautiful Calvin Durand Hall at Lake Forest College.
Over fifty people visited the show, most of whom were students from Lake Forest College.
Lake Forest College business professor Les Dlabay spoke about social entrepreneurship.
The Lake Forest College’s Men’s A Capella Group did a wonderful job performing at the event.
In honor of Sexual Abuse Awareness Month, a Lake Forest College psychology class created awareness posters that we were proud to display during the art show.
Overall, the show was a great success! Thanks to all who donated, volunteered, submitted work, spread the word, or visited The Uncovered Artistry Project‘s Art Show to End Abuse!
